Wales and the Modern Movements Revisited

Research output: Non-textual formExhibition

Abstract

‘Wales and the Modern Movements Revisited’ looks back at an exhibition – ‘Wales and the Modern Movements’ held at Aberystwyth University in 1973 – which set out to interpret the events in twentieth century art through the works of artists working in Wales. The exhibition draws on the collection of the School of Art and the National Library of Wales to offer a snapshot of modern art practice in Wales throughout the last century.
