Abstract
The World Premiere of Phillip Glass' latest opera (libretto by Christopher Hampton) based on the book by Kafka. Banham has a long and ongoing relationship with Music Theatre Wales who were offered the the work by the composer based on their previous productions of his work using designs and concepts Banham had created. The opera was developed alongside the mis-en scene - director and scenographer developing these ideas in response to the musical language.
