Abstract

This chapter ouitlines the emergence of the principle of non-punishment of trafficked people for crimes they have been compelled to commit in the course of being trafficked and exploited. It traces and explains the rlevant international standards and advocates a human rights approaoch, for the benfit of trafficked people, while highluighting States' failure in this regard.
