Abstract

Soil polluted with dyes, heavy metals, metalloids, and other potentially detrimental domestic and industrial materials and contaminants poses a significant threat to the colonization of several plant species. The removal of these potentially detrimental materials and other contaminants that have accumulated in anthropogenic soils inseveral substantially altered places is a critical issue. Hence, this chapter explores and reviews some recent publications dedicated to the application of sorbents (particularly magnetic sorbents) to plants, specifically for seed germination.
