I obtained BSc in Agricultural Science from the University of Notttingham and a PhD in Dairy Science from Michigan State University.

Teaching

My teaching includes Part 1 modules in Animal Science and Animal Physiology (in the Institute of Biological Sciences) and more specialised modules on reproduction and animal production science in Part2.

Research interests

I conduct research into animal reproduction and my main areas of research are the factors affecting the embryo survival in juvenile ewes and the effect of late pregnancy nutrition on lactational performance in dairy cows.

Additional information

My other interests include squash, tennis and fishing.
