Violence and Civilization in the Western States-Systems

This work is the second volume of a trilogy of works on the problem of harm in world politics. It is the first work to synthesise elements of process sociology and the English School analysis of international sociery in a project that compares restraints on violent harm in the different Western states-systems. This is a large-scale work based on approximately ten years of extensive reading and research. .
