Diddordebau ymchwil

My research focuses on the identification and characterisation of helminth proteins essential to the parasites survival in the host. The aim of this research is to discover novel vaccine candidates/drug targets and to also gain a deeper understanding of host/parasite interactions. Using bioinformatic approaches, my research also examines the evolution of gene families (such as the SmVAL family) across parasitic and non-parasitic species.
